Vector rogon/rogon-soliton solutions and asymptotics of multi-component nonlinear wave systems

摘要:In this report, we simply introduce the recent development of rogue waves (rogons) arising in deep ocean, nonlinear optics, Bose-Einstein condensates, plamas physics and even finance. Moreover, we discuss vector rogons/rogon-solitons of the multi-component nonlinear Schrodinger systems with with non-zero/mixed backgrounds, and analyze their strong and weak interactions, PT symmetry, and asymptotic behaviors.

 

 

报告人简介: 闫振亚,中科院数学与系统科学研究院研究员,博士生导师,国家杰出青年基金获得者,全国百篇优秀博士论文获得者。荣获中国科学院2008年卢嘉锡青年人才奖,北京市科学技术二等奖,主持“数学与量子物理效应创新交叉团队”创新交叉团队项目。主要研究数学物理、非线性波与可积系统、PT对称、怪波及应用等。
