报告摘要：

       In this talk, I shall discuss results on the estimates for a free boundary problem of highly subsonic heat-conducting inviscid flow, based on a joint work with Huihui Zeng. The issues on the loss of derivatives and the coupling of interior solutions and evolving boundary geometry will be addressed.

报告人简介：

        罗涛教授，于1995年在中国科学院数学与科学研究院获博士学位，现为香港城市大学数学系教授。他曾任职于密歇根大学安娜堡分校，乔治城大学和伍斯特理工学院等三所美国大学。罗涛教授的研究方向和学术兴趣包括非线性偏微分方程，流体力学的数学理论，双曲守恒律，激波理论，变分原理，广义相对论。研究成果发表在Comm. Pure Appl. Math.， SIAM J. Math. Anal.， Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal.，Comm. Math. Phys.等国际著名学术期刊上。罗涛教授在国内外赢得了许多学术奖项，包括中国科学院院长奖学金特别奖、密歇根大学Rackhan研究基金、意大利CNR研究基金、法国CNRS研究基金。
